Highlights of this year's Breeders' Advent

What a night!

On the 3rd weekend of Advent, we were delighted to open the stable gates here in Lemwerder and warmly welcomed hundreds of horse lovers to our festively decorated indoor riding arena for the Breeders' Advent on December 16, 2023. This was the twelfth time we had the pleasure of hosting this special event. Together with our dedicated team, we presented the promising young talents and proven sires of this year's breeding season, whether in jumping, dressage or in hand.

The most important actors were especially honored at the big breeder award ceremony: the successful breeders, who can look forward to premium mares, licensed stallions and particularly good sport horses by our stallions.

In a wonderful atmosphere, Hendrik Sosath proudly presented the young talents such as Capital One by Cador and Stakkato Cornet by Stakkato Gold. The young stallions Toucento and Diamant de Plaisir II also impressed under saddle. Our new rider in the team, Ilena Kilian, gave a harmonious performance with the six-year-old mare Laola by Ogano. Laola's first foal, a young stallion by Casalido, is eligible for OS licensing and was presented in hand.

Of course, our proven old stallions Casiro and Cador were also in the spotlight. Particularly pleasing was the appearance of numerous offspring, who were presented both on the video screen and live under saddle. A special highlight were the five-year-old full siblings Casper and Cachensky by Casiro out of Corlina by Corlensky G - Landor S. Under Heike Jahnke and Hendrik Sosath, they impressed with promising jumping, reminiscent of their successful full sister Lady Corlina, who recently made her 1.60m debut in the Global Champions Tour Final in Prague and triumphed this weekend in London under Andreas Schou.

Madita Rentz once again took over the presentation of the dressage stallions Moreno and Federer, who impressed with their harmonious performance, excellent rideability and impressive movement potential.

Our trainees created an entertaining atmosphere in their show act, suitably costumed and dancing to "Cowboys and Indians".

The Danica Duen stallion station proudly presented the reigning Bundeschampion of three-year-old pony stallions, Herzgold NRW, and the reserve champion stallion of the Westphalian pony licensing, Noble Dance by Neverland WE.

The highlight of the evening was For Dance and Ninja Sosath, who achieved the Golden Riding Badge together this year and provided goosebump moments with dressage lessons of the most difficult class.

We were accompanied musically by Fred Sommertag, who not only sang Christmas carols together with the audience with festive accordion music, but also created a great atmosphere after the event.

The late evening provided space for conversation, shop talk and the odd drink or two. Michael Quittek and his team provided over 600 guests with delicious food and drinks. The entire event was professionally filmed and broadcast live by ClipMyHorse. Premium members have the opportunity to view the program in the archive.

Many thanks to everyone involved for this wonderful evening!
