Offspring
Main premium winner Oldenburg-InternationalSire of the Oldenburg Champion Mare of four-year old show jumpers and OS Champion Mare Jova OLD/Only YouSire of the Hanoverian Champion Mare Olympia 2022Sire of the winner of the Hanoverian Free Jumping Championships, Oscar D
2021 Jova OLD by Ogano x Balou du Rouet was Oldenburg Champion Mare of 4-year-old show jumpers. Ridden by Bernd Osterkamp, the young mare showed an impressive round in the final of the Oldenburg Championship, as she did in the qualifier. Oreo by Ogano x Lordanos from the successful breeding of Siegfried Rempe from Garrel secured the reserve victory in the championship. Oreo OLD already attracted attention as a foal. He became foal champion at the 9th Lemwerder Foal Championships. Egbert Schep from the Netherlands commented on the winner at that time as "quite modern, blood marked, a top model".
Jova OLD was already a celebrated OS champion mare in 2020 under the name Only You. Sporty, chic, always light footed and capable at the jump, rated with a 9.0 in free jumping and predestined for the big show jumping sport, was the verdict at the mare show.
In 2022, Olympia by Ogano x Diacontinus, bred by Enrico Messelis, was the Hanoverian Champion Mare, winning the Herwart von der Decken Show in Verden.
Oscar D by Ogano x Quantus, bred by Patricia Duchac's training stable, won the Hanoverian Free Jumping Championships in 2021 with a score of 27.7 (technique 9.0, ability 9.5, overall impression 9.2).
At the Holstein licensing, his son On the Rocks out of Lea VI by Cassini I x Caretino received a positive licensing score.
In 2017, Ogano was named the main premium winner of the Oldenburg-International Verband because of his particularly good first crop and his own performance.
Ogano's first crop convinces with very modern, long-legged foals. On the occasion of his offspring evaluation, Oldenburg licensing commissioner Dr. Evelin Schlotmann commented on his foals as follows:
"So many very good foals in the final ring. (...) We think this was an extremely convincing start. Foals that are very well laid out, long-legged, very harmonious in body (...). Eleven foals in the final ring - we don't have that often. With correct foundations (...), obviously this stallion refines.
In trot, all foals convinced with an absolutely active hind leg and have a lot of activity and dynamics, (...) all constructed uphill.
These foals have all convinced in canter. And that really impressed us here. Beautiful types, easy-going, a modern jumper breeding sire as we would like to see."
In addition to the winning foal of the 9th Lemwerder Foal Championships, the winning foal of the 11th Lemwerder Foal Championships also has Ogano for a sire. The colt, bred by Werner Weddehage from Nikolausdorf, descends from Ogano x Landor S x Zeus.
