Gerd Sosath says about him: "Stakkato Cornet has a fantastic jumping pedigree, he is perfectly bred. He is tall, has a high riding Quality and has inherited the technique from his sire Stakkato Gold and dam's sire Cornet Obolensky."
Stakkato Cornet completed his first competition starts as a four-year-old with flying colors. He secured victory in the qualifier for the Deister Show Jumping Championships on the Dobrock with a score of 8.6. As a five-year-old, he immediately built on his successes from the previous year. He won show jumping competitions and qualified for the "Bundeschampionat" for 5-year-old show jumpers.
At the age of six, he was already able to place himself at international level in Peelbergen!
Origin
Sire Stakkato Gold was himself highly successful up to 1.50m jumping and best jumping stallion at the Hanoverian licensing in 2003. His licensed sons Stargold, victorious in 1.60m jumping under Marcus Ehning and Solid Gold, World Champion of Young Horses and Reserve Champion over 1.60m under Christian Ahlmann, are only a selection from over 60 S-successful offspring.
Stakkato Cornet's dam Lamose MB descends from the legendary Cornet Obolensky (1.60m jumping). The European Team Champion under Marco Kutscher is one of the most popular show jumping sires worldwide. His progeny lifetime earnings have risen to over € 11 million.
The descending dam line continues to feature the 1.50m winning Arezzo VDL, who was awarded the keur predicate in 2017, and the thoroughbred sire Roven xx (1.40m), joined by Voltaire (1.60m), Grannus (1.50m) and Zeus. The two 1.60m show jumpers Vocas and Ronaldo also come from the direct dam line.
The fifth dam, Famose, was successful in 1.50m show jumping herself and produced six advanced (S) level show jumpers, including the three 1.60m show jumpers Simply Grannus, Olisco M and Twinkle Star SR.
