5 mares at Elite broodmare show in Rastede
On July 24, the best young mares of the Oldenburg Verband will compete at the Elite Mare Show in "Rasteder Schlosspark".
Five offspring of stallions from the station were admitted:
We are delighted to have three mares in the selection of the Jumper Breeding Association:
- No. 2 Casalique by Casalido out of Laquirinha by Quality - Landor S, breeder: Gerd Sosath, Lemwerder
- No. 11 Karrie W by Like Pleasure out of Kantana by Lordanos - Zeus, breeder: Werner Weddehage, Nikolausdorf
- No. 12 Lady Lorana by Ogano out of Lady Lordana by Lordanos - Landor S, breeder: Gerd Sosath, Lemwerder
And in the division of the Oldenburg dressage horses:
- No. 40 Mayra by Moreno OLD out of Flower Power by For Romance, breeder: ZG Goeppert, Döhren
- No. 53 Blanjana by Vivaldos out of Blanka by Royal Classic, B.: Uwe Froebel, Hage and B.: Inga Assing, Halbemond
We have fond memories of last year:
Our daughter of Casino Grande was crowned OS Champion Mare at the Brillantring. The mare, born in 2021, is called Lady Grande and is by Casino Grande out of our foundation mare Lady Heida II by Landor S - Contender.
The Oldenburg association wrote:
"The powerful jumping mare received an overall score of 8.60 in her performance test. The OS Championess comes from the famous mare line of Heida. Dam Lady Heida II herself paraded at the Brillantring in Rastede in 2004 and has already produced four licensed stallions in Cador by Catoki, Diamant de Landor by Diamant de Semilly, Calandor by Casalido and Comanchero by Comme Prévu as well as numerous successful sport offspring, including the 2014 OS Champion mare Lady Cadora OLD by Catoki."
The little sister of Cador ranks in bronze: Lady Columbia by Catoki - Landor S. Lady Columbia was presented as part of the pilot project in the short course at the mare performance test and has already been highly successful in tests for young show jumpers.
