Description
A powerful and strong moving stallion. This young sire was one of the favorites of the audience at the Oldenburg licensing in Autumn 2012.
He is a great riding horse with an outstanding willingness to work and ability to collect. In 2015, he won youngster dressage classes at "A- and L-level".
San Riant has an exceptionally brilliant combination of preferable lines, wonderful muscle structure and impeccable conformation. He has three first-class basic gaits, gliding effortlessly forward from a swinging back, which promises the rider the highest level of comfort while riding.
This impressive stallion is very appealing with his fluid motion, which includes a ground-eating walk, very active hindquarters in trot, and a constant uphill movement in canter. According to the licensing commission, he had a near perfect trot on the lunge. San Riant's pedigree is the combination of the historical breeding efforts from many parts of europe. He could not be of more international heritage: he was born in Finland, approved in Oldenburg, and was bred from an Oldenburg sire and a Dutch dam sire. His breeding is from a well regarded Holstein performance line, which has been greatly revered for generations in Denmark.
Meanwhile, San Riant is successful in the USA.
Origin
The sire San Amour was a Stallion Champion and trained up to advanced level. The dam sire Riant, a son of Jazz, fulfills many current desirable qualities. Further enhancing an already strong pedigree for performance and talent is the impressive Holstein stallion Come Back II who was a successful competitor in, and winner of, many advanced dressage and performance tests.
The Holstein dam line 7126 is also represented by nearly 50 other licensed stallions worldwide, including Acobat I, II and III, Acord I, II and III, Athletico, Casalido, Fra Diavolo and Freeman, Aktionär and Burggraaf.
The best known and most successful competition horse at present from this line is Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum's Olympic ride, Belladonna.
