Florenz
- Hanoverian
- dark brown
- *2011
- 172 cm
Description
Florenz is an elegant sporthorse, that impressed at all stages of his development and will now be trained for the big dressage classes.
He impressed spectators with his movements and charisma, capturing the attention of many bystanders at the Oldenburg licensing. Several guests were sure that this stallion would get a premium, but they did not notice his brand: Florenz has a Hanoverian brand, and only Oldenburg dressage horses are able to get a premium at the licensing. Though he was not awarded premium, it is clear that he has extraordinary movements and is an exciting prospect for both breeding and sport.
In 2014, he was shown for the first time and won a riding class. He was 3rd at the Hanoverian Championships and nominated for the Bundeschampionat. Florenz passed his 30-days-test with the highest breeding value (calculated from performance tests) of all stallions in 2014, 157 points. His total dressage score was 9.4. He got a 10.0 (walk), 9.0 (trot), 9.25 (canter), 9.5 (rideability), 9.38 (interieur) and 7.75 (jumping).
In 2015, Lukas Fischer started to ride him. He won his first riding classes with scores up to 9.1 (trot 9.0, canter 9.0, walk 9.0, conformation 9.0, training scale 9.5). He placed 4th at the Hanoverian Championships in Verden and also at the "Bundeschampionat" in Warendorf.
In 2016, Florenz was again qualified for the "Bundeschampionat". He won the qualification in Unna with a mark of 8.4, and the qualification in Rastede with 8.5. He was fourth in the qualification and ninth in the Big Final at the "Bundeschampionat".
Furthermore, Florenz convinced the judges at his first show in 2017, winning the qualification of the "Bundeschampionat" of the 6-year-olds at BĂĽlkau with a score of 8.3.
Florenz successfully competed in S-level dressage classes for the first time in 2018.
In 2019, Florenz placed several times in dressage classes up to Intermediate I.
Under his rider Madita Rentz, Florenz has already won several advanced (S*) level dressage competitions and is a reserve winner up to advanced (S**) level (Intermediaire I).
Origin
Florenz' pedigree unites four of the best sires of recent years: Florencio, Sandro Hit, Donnerhall and Landadel.
The sire Florencio was World Champion of Young Dressage Horses in 2004 and 2005. Afterwards, he was sucessful in Intermediate I with Hans Peter Minderhoud.
Dam sire Sandro Hit - "Bundeschampion" and World Champion of 6-year-old dressage horses himself - became a foundation sire in his lifetime. He brought more than 190 licensed stallions and, in Germany alone, nearly 200 horses, that are successful in the big arena. In 2016, he sired several participants of the Olympic Games, among them Showtime (Dorothee Schneider) and Jimmy Choo SEQ (Mads Hendeliowitz). Sandro Hit is placed second in the WBFSH ranking of the best dressage sires worldwide.
The granddam, state premium mare Donnerlady, produced the licensed Sandig by Sandro Hit and the Hanoverian Mare Champion 2014, Fine Lady by FĂĽrstenball.
The great-grand dam, state premium mare Landlady, is the dam of Lord of Loxley by Lord Sinclair. This horse is successful in international Grand Prix with Hans Peter Minderhoud.
Out of the dam line, there are the successful show jumping horses Celtas Chidambaram by Kansas (1.50 m with A. Kuosmanen/FIN), Show Jumper by Staron (B. Mascenti/ITA), Sinlcaire by Singular Joter (T. Utsunomiya/JAP) and Dumbledore by Drosselklang.
Furthermore, the dam-line produced several licensed stallions: Law and Order by Landadel, Atrejou by Absatz, Graphito by Graphit (1.50 m classes with F. Wacker), C'est la Vie by Cor de la Bryère (1.50 m classes with H. Lugge), Pik Ayolo by Acobat II (int. 1.50 m classes with N.
