Offspring
For years, Stedinger has been one of the top sires in international dressage. He is the sire of 40 licensed sons and has 57 daughters with state premium title. More than 70 offspring in Germany are successful in advanced (S) level dressage, show jumping, eventing and driving. Worldwide, there are even significantly more.
With Toerveslettens Stamina (Andreas Helgstrand) and Schumacher (Claudia Rüscher), he was the only sire to place two offspring in the Grand Final at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden in 2010.
In the same year, Toervesletten's Stamina also became Danish Dressage Champion and won the dressage at the Falsterbo Horse Show. In 2011, the mare also placed in the Grand Final of the World Championships and has been successful in Grand Prix.
In addition to winning the World Championship bronze medal, Schumacher also managed to become Westphalia Champion (2008) and double Vice Bundeschampion in 2008 and 2010.
Stedinger's son Spirit of the age OLD placed several times in Grand Prix dressage with Bernadette Brune, and in 2016 he won both the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Special in Salzburg. The current "Oldenburg Stallion of the Year 2018" is one of the most successful Oldenburg dressage stallions.
Another highly successful offspring is Socrate de Hus. He became French dressage champion in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
With Santorini OLD and Statesman OLD, two other Stedinger offspring prove his high hereditary power. Santorini OLD became Bundeschampion of four-year-old riding horses in 2008.
At the same time, Statesman OLD won Bundeschampionat bronze in the class for three-year-old riding horses. He subsequently achieved the unprecedented price of 400,000 Euros at the Vechta Elite Auction and is now also successful in advanced dressage up to Grand Prix Special level.
Many other offspring are successful with juniors and amateurs. In Germany, 62 of his children have been placed in advanced dressage competitions, and over 40 sons have been licensed to date.
Son Fil Rouge represented the Belgian colors under the saddle of Laurence Roos at the World Championships in Tryon. The pair delivered the best Belgian team result. Santiago by Stedinger was the beaming winner of the Nuremberg Burgpokal under Dorothee Schneider.
Stand by me (Isabell Werth/Lisa Müller), Stevie Wonder, Novia (Victoria Michalke), Sir Galanto, Sunny Boy, Star Wars W, Starlight, Sanford, Grandiosa, Sterling G and Semper Fidelis are successful in advanced dressage up to Grand Prix Special.
But Stedinger is not only a dressage sire: his sons Moonlight Dance S as well as Stachus for example won events on CIC 3*** level. Satinka and Sir Shelly were successful in CIC 2**. Numerous offspring such as 3Q Qalisya (Lars Bak Andersen) and Sir heinrich (Theresa Engfer) are successful in show jumping up to S*** level.
Ideal to be bred to mares of the R and D line. He inherits long-leggedness with very good movement and type expression. Dressage riders confirm the high rideability of his offspring.
