Andreas Schou wins Grand Prix Herning with Lady Corlina
What a great success in Denmark!
Andreas Schou won the Grand Prix of the international show in Herning with our Lady Corlina (> videoclip).
The 9-year-old Lady Corlina is a successful product of our many years of horse breeding. She descends from our sire Casiro. Her dam is the internationally successful Corlensky mare Corlina out of Lady Heida II. This super mare produced, among others, Cador, Cadora and Diamant de Landor.
She grew up in our pastures, was broken in here and first went into breeding. Afterwards, our partners Mathis Schwentker and Thomas Heineking presented the talented mare in tests for young show jumpers. Through the connection with Bo Kristoffersen the change to Denmark followed. Andreas Schou already collected many successes in the outdoor season and is looking forward to the future:
"Lady Corlina is a very ambitious mare that despites her only 9 year of age already has shown great results, recently with her 2* Grand Prix win in Herning.
She is a super mare, jumping the bigger classes with ease. No doubt she definitly has potential for the future. We hope that we during next year can step her up to compete at 5* level."
Lady Corlina had a foal before she entered sport. The meanwhile 5-year-old Upper Class by Untouchable is successful in tests for young show jumpers.
