René Meyer wins the elementary class for 4-year-old show jumpers
At a pleasant 25 degrees, a light breeze and bright sunshine we spent yesterday the first day of our big summer tournament. On the program were jumping classes for young horses A*,A** and L.
René Meyer won the elementary class show jumping competition for four year old horses. He competed with his horse Cascamiro by Cascadello I and convinced the judges with the stallion from the Celle State Stud. With a score of 8.4, Meyer came out on top of the field. Dr. Axel Brockmann, the State Stable Master of the Lower Saxony State Stud, was also a guest in Lemwerder.
In the A* class show jumping competition, 55 talented riders and horses competed to demonstrate their skills. In the first division, Kai Thomann secured second place with Con Rubin by Conthargos with a score of 8.7. Merle Weber and her horse Coeur du Soleil R by Casiro took second place in the second division with a score of 8.6.
In the novice (A**) level show jumping test, Kevin Martsch won the first division with Hundert Prozent by Hym d'Isigny. He took the lead with an outstanding score of 9.2. Patrick Bölle and his horse Doreen by Douglas scored a 9.0 in the second division and secured second place.
The elementary (L) level show jumping tests for 5-7 year old horses was also well attended with nearly 50 starters. Jasper Kools won the first division with Cadiratus by Cador with a score of 8.7, while Irena Westerholt won the second division with her horse Cardi MT by Conthargos with an 8.6.
The show jumping competitions gave riders the opportunity to showcase their young horses in the course and show their potential. Today we continue with even more show jumping competitions for young horses. We are looking forward to the upcoming show days.
