Lady Cadora OLD and Tippi Heineking win HGW Championships

Our Lady Cadora OLD won the HGW National Young Rider Championships with Tippi Heineking! This championship was founded by Hans Günther Winkler back in the 1980s to promote young riders. Hendrik also won this title with Lordanos 20 years ago, he says: 'you never forget something like that, it was one of the most exciting show jumping competitions I've ever ridden!'

Back to the present: After a great warm-up competition, a 1.30m style jumping test, the pair improved their performance once again in the final. Tippi Heineking won this 1.35m style jumping test with a horse change in the second round despite making a mistake with the other horse, so big was the lead after the performance with Lady Cadora OLD, for which the pair received a well-deserved 9.2!

Lady Cadora OLD, a full sister to Cador and Cadora, began her career at the Brillantring in Rastede, which she left as the celebrated OS Champion Mare. Following victories in tests for young show jumpers and great performances at the Bundeschampionat, she was victorious internationally with Holger Wulschner, among others. Furthermore, she was awarded best horse in this weekends championship.
