Future Sires: Casino Grande and Ogano awarded!

What a success! Two of our stallions, Casino Grande and Ogano, were honored as “Future Sires” yesterday evening at the Oldenburg Stallion Gala!

The Oldenburg-International Jumper Breeding Association has announced this new award to recognize stallions whose offspring are up to nine years old and are particularly successful in sport. A HEK breeding value from the FN is required. We are delighted that two of our stallions, Casino Grande and Ogano, are among the first winners of the jumping title!

Oldenburg Stallion of the Year 2023 Casino Grande - himself highly successful in show jumping - passes on his exceptional genes to his offspring. Among them, Casemiro has already won an advanced (S*) level show jumping competition, Lasino Grande has already taken second place in the advanced class, and other S-placed offspring include Charles, Cronerbin, Corleone and Cara Calea. Casino Grande also produced the OS Champion Mare Lady Grande last year and the Oldenburg State Champion of five-year-old show jumpers, Crystal Blue OLD, in 2022.

The offspring of main premium champion Ogano also impress with their Quality and talent. These include, for example, Oreo OLD, who has already placed at advanced (S*) level, and the offspring Chanel One and Only One M&M, who have both won medium (M*) level show jumping competitions. Origami Flower has already placed in medium (M**) level show jumping competitions, while Obi Wan won a test for young show jumpers over 1.30 meters. Lady Oldenburg has also won tests for young show jumpers at medium (M*) level with scores of up to 8.8. Another daughter, Laola, has already placed internationally.  In addition, Jova OLD, also under the name Only You, was OS Champion Mare and OS State Champion Mare of four-year-old show jumpers and Olympia Hanoverian Champion Mare. 

This award makes us incredibly proud and confirms our work. We especially congratulate the breeders of the successful offspring!
