The Sosath family's history

The year 1647 is of particular importance to us, as it was in this year that the Sosath family was first mentioned in a document on the Sosath farm in Lemwerder.

Numerous animals have always found their home here. Without the strong working horses, the farm would hardly have been possible in the early days.

For decades, the focus has been on breeding riding horses. The Heida dam line cultivated by Gerd's father, Heino Sosath, forms the foundation for today's breeding of globally successful sport horses.
