Casino Grande Will Soon Call the U.S. Home
After tremendous successes and many wonderful years with Casino Grande, we accepted an offer from an American family in Florida. It was clear right from the trial ride: their daughter and our stallion are a perfect match.
We are very grateful for the time we spent with Casino Grande, who brought us so much joy not only at competitions but also in our daily work.
Casino Grande was born here and went on to have a truly picture-perfect career. After successfully being licensed as a premium stallion in Vechta, we established him as a breeding stallion and trained him ourselves. He was named Oldenburg Stallion of the Year 2023 and Future Sire 2025.
Gerd raved about him at every stallion show: “I am very proud to have achieved my personal breeding goal with this horse. Casino Grande inspires in daily work with his personality, attitude, rideability, and Quality of movement.”
Hendrik and Casino Grande have impressively demonstrated their potential in recent years. Together, they’ve racked up successes on the national and international stage. In 2026, they capped off their season with a victory in the Rastede Grand Prix. They also enjoyed international success in Hamburg, Herning, and Riesenbeck and placed at the German Championships. On top of that, they’ve secured numerous other victories and placings in Grand Prix events and international show jumping competitions up to 1.60m.
Even though saying goodbye is, of course, especially hard, the joy that Grande is getting such a wonderful new opportunity outweighs the sadness. Hendrik says: “We had a great time, and I can’t imagine a better future for Grande than being with a young rider at a 5* stable, with the best conditions and a forever home in the sun. His retirement on the ranch's pastures is also secure.” Many thanks to Joseph Klaphake for arranging this.
We wish Casino Grande and his new family all the best from the bottom of our hearts and hope they have many happy moments together.
Thank you for the unforgettable time we shared, dear Grande. You will always hold a very special place in our hearts!
