2 Casalido offspring in the top 10 of the German Amateur Championships

It wasn’t just in Lanaken that a Casalido son was successful. At the German Amateur Championships in Zeiskam, two of his offspring were represented in the top 10.

Max Schmidt narrowly missed the medal positions with his horse Coeur de Lion and placed 4th in the overall standings. The gelding by Casalido out of Quintero was bred by Andreas Göttsching.

Nina Oertel-Speis and her Classy Casalido by Casalido x Contendro, bred by Helmut Kordes, finished the championships in 8th place.

Franz Gleisner and Lord Lexington by Lordanos x Lord Pezi, bred by Andreas Kamphaus, placed 9th in the Amateur Show Jumping Championship (Class M).

In dressage, Laura Körting won the bronze medal with Amazing Grace by Antango x Donnerhall. The mare was born at Sabine Zitzelsberger’s farm.

The finals of the nationwide Horst Gebers Pony Tour were also held during the German Championships. Clara Tinka Heineking and Clärchen by Coolio x Acorado placed third in this M-level show jumping competition with a jump-off. Clärchen was bred by Clara’s grandfather, Willi Heineking.
