2 victories for Lyon at World Championships Aachen

At 16, the youngest rider in Aachen showed everyone how it’s done. Riding our former station stallion Lyon, JJ Torano from the U.S. won the first competition on Friday and also the team jumping event on Saturday. In Sunday’s final, the pair placed 11th.

JJ Torano and Lyon competed in the U21 Tour. Each nation was allowed to nominate two up-and-coming talents for the competitions held as part of the World Championships.

Lyon is by Lord Argentinus out of Lex Lugar and was bred by Frank Sander from Raddestorf. We purchased him at the Hanoverian Stallion Market. After several years at the breeding station and many successes in show jumping competitions, he moved abroad.
