Young riders from Weser-Ems at our stable on Sunday

On Sunday, 1 March 2026, we will be hosting our traditional junior competition. The event, which has been a fixture in the calendar for decades and always takes place on the first Sunday in March, will be organised this year by the Oldenburg Equestrian Association together with the Sosath family.

In a rolling system, the venue changes annually between the various district associations. The participating teams from the district associations of Osnabrück, Emsland, East Frisia and Oldenburg have prepared intensively to impress in the disciplines of dressage, jumping, theory and pre-modelling.

A day dedicated to equestrian sports

The competition day begins early in the morning and offers a full programme for participants and spectators alike. Particularly motivating: this year, the two individual winners will receive a high-Quality riding helmet from uvex equestrian.

The schedule at a glance:

09:00: Welcome
09:05: Dressage ponies
10:15 a.m.: Dressage horses
11:30 a.m.: Preliminary inspection of ponies
12:30 p.m.: Lunch break
1:00 p.m.: Preliminary inspection of horses
2:00 p.m.: Theory
2:45 p.m.: Show jumping ponies (course inspection from 2:30 p.m.)
3:45 p.m.: Horse jumping (course inspection from 3:30 p.m.)
4:30 p.m.: Award ceremony

Expert support

The performances will be judged by the experienced judges Anja Rietbrock and Christine Runge. Photographer Julia Roßner will be on site to capture the best moments of the day.
