Three "Sosath horses" at European Cup
"The 3* European Cup, better known as the European Rural Eventing Championships, will take place in Belgium from July 9 to 13. For the first time in 22 years, Minderhout in Flanders will host the traditional event, which takes place every two years and has a history stretching back over 70 years. The special feature to this day: the team dressage of the six team riders. This precedes the actual three-star test and is included in the team result." (FN)
We are delighted that three riders from the German team with offspring from our station are taking part. And what's special: All three are riding horses from their own family breeding. They have trained them and have been successful in sport with them for many years.
We wish them much joy and success:
- Wild West Candy Rose by Casino Grande - Rosario and Johanna Wetjen (breeder: Johanna Wetjen)
- Lou Daymen by Landor S - Come Back II and Linn Sophie Mauchert (breeder: Anja Mauchert)
- Ella M Connect - Lordanos - Landor S and Tabea-Marie Meiners (breeder: Dirk Meiners)
The photos show Tabea-Marie Meiners with her Luc M by Ludwig von Bayern, also bred by the Meiners family. In 2023, after a very good dressage and clear rounds in the cross-country and show jumping, they were crowned Vice European Champions of the rural eventers. With the German team, the pair also won bronze in the team classification.
