Description

So Perfect's son Sir Franklin was licensed in 2025 and impressed with his modern, typical appearance, his elastic movement dynamics and excellent basic gaits. His lively trot, uphill canter and rhythmic, energetic walk particularly impressed breeding experts and spectators alike.

Hendrik Sosath is delighted with this new addition: "This stallion combines the most sought-after sires such as Sezuan, Ampère, and Gribaldi."

Origin

Sir Franklin's pedigree is characterised by a remarkable concentration of sporting successes and recognised sires in international dressage, which ensures reliable performance potential.

On his sire's side, So Perfect impresses under Leonie Richter. The stallion has already proven his breeding value as reserve champion at the 2019 Oldenburg Stallion Days. At the same time, he is successfully competing at the highest level and has already placed up to the demanding Intermediaire II class. This combination of licensing predicate and high-level athletic performance underscores his Quality as a sire.

The maternal line comes from a proven, internationally successful Dutch line. The first dam, Lufradin, was herself successful in the Netherlands up to M-level dressage, thus providing direct proof of rideability and willingness to perform.

The second dam, Unette II, has already excelled as a broodmare, producing the licensed and highly successful Estoril by Zhivago. Under Emmelie Scholtens (NED), this stallion was a multiple finalist at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses (five and six years old). In addition, Unette II produced another successful sport horse, Junette RS2 by De Niro, who competed successfully up to advanced (M) level dressage.

The sporting continuity is continued by the third dam, Unette, who produced an impressive number of successful advanced (S) level offspring. Her offspring include F. Charly by Akteur, who was successful in Grand Prix competitions, Pulidon by Burggraaf, who was placed up to Intermediaire I level in the USA, and Ramzes by Cocktail and Klavier by Balzflug (under Udo Lange), who were highly successful in advanced (S) level dressage. This list is complemented by the licensed stallion Mondriaan by Balzflug, who himself attracted attention in M** dressage**.

The breeding foundation is confirmed by the fourth dam, Nannet, who herself produced three offspring that reached international advanced level: Calador by Amor (under Bent Jensen, USA) and Byoux by Le Mexico (under Anne Franssen, NED) were both successful in Grand Prix, while Candy by Le Mexico impressed in Prix St. Georges under Jochen Hippenstiel.

In addition, the entire dam line proves its absolute top position with internationally recognised athletes: among others, it produced the Grand Prix horses Kingston by Voltaire (under Leslie Morse, USA) and Vradin by Gribaldi (under Simon Missiaen, BEL). His gait impressed breeding experts and spectators alike.
