- Holstein
- grey
- *2006
- 172 cm
Description
This son of Quality shows a lot of scope. He has extraordinary jumping ability combined with great technique and an ideal bascule, which points towards a great jumping career. Besides these impressive traits, he shows excellent movements in walk, trot and canter.
For his scope, Quincento received a value mark of 8.24 (whole mark at 30-days test in Neustadt (Dosse): 7.99).
In 2010 he was the sire of the runner-up champion at the Zangersheide foal show. Because of his very good first foals, he became main-premium-winner of the Oldenburg Verband in 2010.
In 2011 he was placed in youngster classes and he qualified for the "Bundeschampionat".
Meanwhile, Quincento is highly successful in the USA.
Origin
His pedigree has very strong jumping lines on both sides. Sire Quality was internationally successful. His dam Caprice V (Cantia) was very successful up to 1.40 m-jumping competitions. Caprice V has also produced several jumping horses and is a full-sister of Cantio LH and Catango 4.
Quincento's capacity reminds of his grand-sire Cantus, who has a long list of international jumpers like Calvaro (Willi Melliger/SUI) and the inspected Come On (princess Haya von Jordanien) and a huge number of other international stars. With the Cor de la Bryère-son Calando I, Cantus produced the foundation sire Canturo.
Great-grandsire Marduk was a son of Midas, who was very successful with Karsten Huck and delivered, in only a short stint in breeding in Holstein, the internationally successful jumper, Mercator 4 (Tjark Nagel). The fourth sire Marengo connects the big line founders Marlon xx and Ramzes FO, effectively combining the lines and creating a success in the jumping sport. In the fifth generation, you find the significant Cottage Son xx - son Cromwell.
Quincento's dam-line, the Holstein line 890, has also produced Caspar/Eurocommerce Berlin, Casall (Rolf-Göran Bengtsson), Elmshorn by Lord, Campus by Cantus, Quick by Quinar, Euro Dream by Ehrentraum, Leonidas by Lido, Lorthello B by Lord, Modesto by Marlon xx, Conally by Caretino (Markus Renzel), Frimella by Freeman xx (Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst) and the Grand Prix-Star Cosmopolitan by Corleone. Out of the direct dam-line there are also the licensed stallions Claudino, Countdown Swis, Leviano, Cariletto and Leandro.
