Origin
Pegasus' sire Pegase van't Ruytershof was the champion stallion at the 2018 Belgian licensing and is internationally successful in 1.50 m show jumping competitions under Belgian rider Jeroen de Winter. His first foal crop was extremely promising, producing the winning filly of both the filly and colt classes at the Belgian Elite Foal Championships. In 2019, Pegase van't Ruytershof won the Pavo Stallion Competition for four-year-olds. He was awarded the BWP Young Stallion Award in 2020. This exceptional stallion has achieved an incredible amount in a very short space of time - no wonder he is so popular! Pegase is descended from one of the most famous Cornet Obolensky sons, Comme il faut, who celebrated countless successes in top sport under Marcus Ehning.
Dam Istersina produced Mister Jumper by Grandorado, who was internationally successful up to 1.35m.
The dam's sire Numero Uno, himself the winner of his stallion performance test and a successful show jumper under Marco Kutscher, has established himself as one of the most influential sires worldwide. With offspring such as Tamino, Tyson and Van Gogh, who won international Grand Prix competitions, as well as total offspring earnings of over 10 million euros, he has made a lasting impression on the sport and breeding world.
The granddam Tersina already has nine successful sport offspring and is the dam of the licensed stallion Light-Cohinoor, who is already successful in the advanced level. The 1.45m successful Eleganto by Indoctro and Guinness by Corland also deserve special mention.
The falling dam line is rounded off by the performance sires Ahorn and Emilion.
Sina's dam line also produced the 1.60m show jumpers Homer van de Barlebius by Kashmir van Shuttershof (Victor Mariano Luninatti/BRA), Amadeus by Equador (Emil Orbán/HUN), Coral Reef Crystal Cove by Ahorn (Vinton Karrasch/USA) as well as numerous other successful show jumpers.
