World Championship silver and bronze medal winner and victorious in Grand Prix
Donkey Boy was named "Stallion of the Year" by the Danish Warmblood Horse Breeding Association in 2023 and won Intermediaire II and Grand Prix under Anne-Mette Strandby Hansen in Skårup Fyn in 2022.
He placed at the World Championships for Young Horses three years in a row and won the bronze medal in 2017 under his rider Jan Møller Christensen and the silver medal in 2019.
Christensen and Donkey Boy also made history by winning the Danish Young Horse Championships four years in a row (2016-2019).
Donkey Boy was premium stallion at his licensing in 2015 and won his stallion performance test the following fall.
Donkey Boy's sporting successes have made him one of the most sought-after breeding stallions in Denmark, and his first offspring have already made a lasting impression at both the Danish Young Horse Championships and the World Young Horse Championships.

Sire Dancing Hit was a champion stallion, just like his dam's sire Milan. Dancing Hit's dam, Sumatra Hit, is by the legendary stallion Sandro Hit.
Sumatra Hit was a champion mare with a riding horse test score of 8.01. She was awarded a 10 for temperament and a 9 for rideability in the mare performance test. She has a licensed full brother.
The dam Sobakkehus Kamilja was herself successful up to Intermediaire I in dressage and produced La Fallulah, who won Intermediaire I several times in the USA. The line has produced numerous state premium mares and successful Grand Prix horses.

Hesselhøj Donkey Boy already has promising offspring, such as the former world champion of young dressage horses, Downtown, who is now with Rose Oatley.
His daughter Brandtbjergs Divya, bred by the Buhl family, became Vice-Worldchampion of Young Dressage Horses in 2025 with a score of 90 %.
He is also the sire of the winner of the 35-day test in Denmark, Svalegårds Hot Driver. He also won the young stallion championships in Denmark in 2024, where all the podium places were taken by Donkey Boy offspring.
The Danish Warmblood Association awarded Hesselhøj's Donkey Boy elite status at the age of 8. He is one of the youngest stallions ever to achieve this.
No less than 85% of the 33 daughters who have taken part in performance tests have passed the test and received a medal.
He has sired two licensed sons to date: Hesselhøj Downtown and Ambjergs Delgadino. 11 offspring from his first crop qualified for the Danish Young Horse Championships as 4-year-olds.
