Description
Franziskus' success record is packed. He was called up to the Olympic squad in 2019 and secured 4th place in the German Championships in the dressage freestyle. In 2022 he won the bronze medal in the team at the World Championships in Herning and became World Cup stage winner in Stuttgart. In 2023 he wins the bronze medal in the World Cup stage in Amsterdam. He won the golden ribbon in S*** and S**** dressage 26 times so far.
He made the audience buzz on the occasion of the NRW main licensing in 2010. Two years later he convinced again. He laid down a start-finish victory at the 2012 Bundeschampionat: Franzikus became Bundeschampion of four-year-old stallions with third-party scores of 9.5 and 10.0. Since the end of 2013, Franziskus has been ridden by Olympic champion Ingrid Klimke. The two were already victorious at their first appearance in a medium (M) level dressage test for young horses. In 2014, he immediately qualified for the Bundeschampionat and was nominated for the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. His first advanced (S) level placement followed in 2015 - as a just seven-year-old. This was followed by the reserve victory in the 2016 Nuremberg Burg Cup, and numerous victories in Grand Prix dressage.
The premium stallion Franziskus has a brilliant type and significant frame, first-class tripartite body with a lot of harmony and outstanding correctness. He comes close to the optimum in all three gaits: at the walk with diligence, scope and tact, at the trot with plenty of impulsion, thrust and drive, at the canter always uphill and jumping under the center of gravity.
In 2011, Franziskus passed his 30-day test in Münster-Handorf with flying colors: For trot, canter and rideability, he received a score of 9.0 in training. The outside rider even rated the rideability as 9.5. He also received the dream rating of 9.5 for character.
Origin
Franziskus' sire Fidertanz began his career by winning the Westphalian licensing and the 30-days-test in Neustadt/Dosse.
He was runner up at the "Bundeschampionat" and was the main premium award winner in 2006. Since then, Fidertanz has placed in many advanced dressage classes.
His dam, Antara, has also produced the licensed stallion Dementi, who is successful in advanced dressage competitions as well.
His Dam's sire, Alabaster, was "Bundeschampion" of young dressage horses.
In the third and fourth generation, there are the international sport horses, and important stallions, Rubinstein I and Grundstein I.
The basis of the dam line is the Irish thoroughbred mare Daffy Toban xx (by Go Tobann xx-Mustang xx, family 2). That line produced the sires Count on Me, Grafenstein and Winston hervor, as well as the international sport horses Grand Giraud (Alexandra Simons-de Ridder) and Calman, who won the Grand Prix of Nörten-Hardenberg with Rolf Moormann.

Franziskus already has 35 licensed sons and 32 state premium mares. 25 of his children have already been successful in advanced (S) level dressage competitions, including the Grand Prix horses Fred the Red and Final Dance.
Several of his first foals qualified for the finals of the German Foal Championships in Lienen. In 2012, he even produced the winning foal there.
