The jumping capitalist in a” white” coat. Cornelius really impresses due to his top-rate jumping technique, ground-eating canter, truly wonderful bascule, huge potential and excellent rideability. Especially in his front leg technique, the influence of his grandfather Cor de la Bryère is easily recognisable. This elegant grey had his breeding and in sports debut in Sweden, where he won several jumping competitions. At the end of 2012, he was an immediate sporting success in Germany.

The result of the 70-day test in Neustadt / Dosse in 2009 underlines this stallion’s special character and tremendous jumping ability. He was awarded the following marks:  character 9.0; temperament 8.5; willingness 9.0, constitution 8.5, and for jumping 8.83 (free jumping and show jumping 9.0, cross-country jumping 8.5) and in the test rider jumping 9.25.

His sire, Casir Ask, a Cor de la Bryère-Landgraf I-Captain offspring, is a top sire in Danish breeding. His grandmother, U-Capitola, is a full sister to the stallions Capitol I and II. Cornelius's full sister, Calicia, produced, paired with Carano, the approved stallion Capone (PB DK). The dam's sire Lagano has become a sire of international calibre in Denmark, after having only a short career with the Holstein Stud Book. Through the Cor de la Bryère son Capriccio, the prolific advanced dressage champion Marmor and the well-known Cottage Son xx progeny Cromwell, the pedigree continues purely on Holstein lines.
Cornelius comes from the Holstein line 8784, of Dutch origin, and based on the mare Faantina (v. Vendelier-Graniet etc.). From this flourishing international mare family come the Holstein stallions such as Lascado, Linardo (PB DK) and Quival (PB BEL).
