Like Pleasure does justice to his name. He is not only a look alike of his famous sire For Pleasure, but also an exciting young stallion looking to please his rider and handlers.

Like Pleasure successfully completed his stallion performance test in 2019 and is thus registered in the "stallion book I" and approved for breeding without restrictions.
After numerous successes in novice (A) level show jumping competitions, Like Pleasure is now successful in elementary (L) and medium (M) level show jumping competitions in line with his age and has collected many victories and placings.
Origin
Sire For Pleasure was a part of the German Nations Cup team for years. Together with Lars Nieberg he won team gold at the Olympic Games in Atlanta (1996), team gold at the European Championships in Mannheim (1997) and team gold at the European Championships in 1999. Marcus Ehning and For Pleasure were also highly successful at championships. At the Olympic Games in Sydney 2000 they won team gold. The pair finished fourth in the individual classification. In 2002 the German Champion title and gold with the team in Donaueschingen followed. For Pleasure won numerous Grand Prix worldwide, World Cup classes and Nations' Cups.
His offspring can be found at international showgrounds all over the world. Especially Fit for Fun and Luciana Diniz attracted attention with numerous wins and placings in 1,60m-classes in the last years. Other internationally successful offspring are Funky Fred/Marcus Ehning, Epleaser van't Heike/Christian Ahlmann, Forchello/Amke Stroman, Firth of Lorne/Marcus Ehning, For Felicila/Pedro Veniss, Atlanta/Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, Barron/Lucy Davis, Farina/Rene Tebbel, Fiery/Lars Nieberg or Firth of Clyde/Christian Ahlmann. He is also the father of more than 50 licensed sons.
Like Pleasure’s dam Gestelle had two foals before becoming a sport horse. In 2019, she was internationally successful as an 8-year-old over 1.40m courses. In 2022 she is victorious with Jannes Schultewolter in advanced level show jumping.
Granddam Volstelle produced Cristello (Denis Lynch, IRE), who was successful in 1.60m show jumping and Nations Cups, placed in the World Cup Final in Leipzig 2022 and in the Grand Prix of Hamburg 2021, and won the DKB Championship (1.50m) at the Global Jumping Berlin. Another daughter of Volstelle is Belle (Lauren Hough/USA), who placed in 1.55m jumping competitions, as well as the international advanced (S) level show jumpers Hestelle and Inostello. Other successful advanced (S) level horses from the dam line are Elyah Lalan (1.40m) and Urame (dressage Intermediaire I).
Dam sire Toulon is thought to be one of the best jumper sires worldwide. In 2019, he was ranked fourth in the WBFSH-ranking. He was highly internationally successful himself with the riders Hubert Bourdy and Jonella Ligresti. His victory in the Global Champions-Tour in Sao Paulo (BRA) is unforgettable.
Furthermore, he ist he sire to numerous licensed stallions as well as internationally successful 1.60m horses. Among the currently competing horses are Vancouver de Lanlore (Pénélope Leprevost, FRA), Delux van T & L (Niels Bruynseels, BEL), Falco van Spieveld (Nicole Walker, USA), Jumpy van de Hermitage (Abdel Saïd, EGY), Toulago (Adrienne Sternlicht, USA) and Vitot du Chateau (Olivier Guillon, FRA).

Offspring
The first crop of Like Pleasure convinced the breeders and judges at the offspring evaluation for the Oldenburg Main Premium.
The Breeding Director, Bernhard Thoben, was enthusiastic about the great first crop of Like Pleasure: "Large-sized foals that move in a very sporty-modern way. The good impression Like Pleasure makes under saddle is confirmed by his offspring."
Number 352 was awarded as the winning foal. The colt by Like Pleasure out of Kantana by Lordanos x Zeus comes out of the successful breeding of Werner Weddehage from Nikolausdorf. Second place went to number 370, a colt by Like Pleasure out of Hollywood by Corlensky x Landadel, bred by Gerd Sosath. Both foals were awarded "Elite" and received an invitation to the Elite Auction in Vechta.
Third place went to the foal with the number 368, a filly by Like Pleasure out of Charetien Gold by Lordanos x Landor S bred by Karl-Heinz Schmacker. The elite filly No. 372 by Like Pleasure out of Gala by Lordanos x Noble Roi xx (breeder: Udo Bomke) placed 4th, followed by No. 363, a colt by Like Pleasure out of Lady Heida II by Landor S (breeder: Gerd Sosath).
