Dream Boy - the guarantee of success in breeding and sport

The list of Dream Boy's successes is long. With Hans Peter Minderhoud, he competed at two European Championships, one World Championship, the Olympic Games in Tokyo and the 2019 World Cup Final in Gothenburg. They won team silver at the European Championships in Rotterdam.
At the Dutch Dressage Championships, they won the silver medal three times in a row

As a six-year-old, he won the bronze medal at the World Championships for Young Horses under the saddle of Gerdine Maree.

Hans Peter Minderhoud says: "Dreamy is a sensational stallion who has delivered consistently over so many years in so many championships. I started riding him when he was seven years old and I am very happy that he is now going into his well-deserved retirement in really good health. He can enjoy it - standing in stud, light exercise under saddle and being out in our pastures all day."

Dream Boy is one of the best licensed offspring of the proven sire Vivaldi, who produced more than 60 licensed sons and is building up his own stallion line worldwide with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Vivaldi is right at the top of the world ranking list of successful dressage sires.

His dam, the elite Prestatie mare Resia, produced Dream Boy as well as the horses Wanted (by San Remo) and Holland TC (by Charmeur), both of whom compete at Prix St. George level. Her grandson Hummer (by Charmeur) also competes at Prix St. George level and took part in the 2020 European Young Rider Championships. Resia is by the Olympic stallion and proven sire Ferro. Ferro is the sire of Edward Gal's famous Olympic horse Undercover and grandsire of Olympic champion Valegro.

Dream Boy is one of the top sires in Dutch warmblood breeding and already has several licensed sons and award-winning daughters.

These include the KWPN stallion Kane (Dream Boy x Krack C), who impressed with an overall score of 8.25 at the stallion performance test in February 2020. During the sport test in Verden, he received the dream score of 9.09 with a 10 for rideability.
