Devonport and Detroit are two exceptional sport stallions with the highly prized ‘D blood’ in the pedigree of this fine up-and-coming stallion. And he keeps the promise of his pedigree. He offers exceptionally dynamic movement with plenty of power from his hindquarters.

What the breeder says: “This is how I imagine a sport horse-to-be: Full of personality, with a solid base and three exceptional basic gaits. And if it also has as much charisma as this son of Devonport, that’s just the icing on the cake of this highly successful pairing.”

Dam line

Hanoverian Ablage line.  The sister of the dam, Santa Fee by Stedinger, was successful up to PSG/intermediate I level, as was the brother of dam, Westerland by Werder-Fan.

The fourth generation features stamp stallion Ahorn Z, who brings the desired show-jumper qualities to the pedigree. As a result, this line features numerous successful show-jumpers, including Cassina by Collado (1.55 m show-jumping), Chicago by Collado (1.45 m show-jumping), brother of the grand dam Leroy Liberty by Landadel (1.40 m show-jumping) and Luke Skywalker by Lord Calando (1.40 m show-jumping), also the brother of the grand dam.

Devonport was a celebrated German Champion at the age of four. Aged 5, he placed in the grand final of the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses before being sold to a prestigious dressage stall in Denmark. His foals know how to be the centre of attention with their great movement.

Detroit has been successful in advanced dressage. His progeny impress with their exceptional movement, with the beautiful movement of their hindquarters of particular note.

Donnerschwee, who was himself successful to Grand Prix level, has many licensed sons to his name. These include Stedinger’s half-brother Donninger, whose full sister Bold Lady produced the two licensed stallions Adoro and Quarterbold.
